Terms of Service

Rubynox finds public datasets, keeps them up to date, and delivers the parts you choose to the destinations you choose (for example email, Microsoft Teams or Slack) on your schedule, with a receipt for each delivery.

Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself and tell us at admin@rubynox.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the destinations and recipients you set up: only send data to people and places you are allowed to.

The data comes from its publishers (for example the World Bank, Our World in Data, the Federal Reserve and the US Treasury) and stays under their licences. Each dataset page shows its publisher, licence and the attribution to keep when you use it; you agree to follow them.

Datasets marked Via publisher have licences that do not allow redistribution. Rubynox only links to them and never delivers them. Datasets marked Check the licence for commercial use or Non-commercial use only may limit how a business can use them; that is your responsibility.

Rubynox passes data on as its publishers release it and checks deliveries for freshness, completeness and format. We do not guarantee that the data is accurate, complete or available at any time, and publishers may revise it. Nothing on Rubynox is investment, legal, medical or other professional advice.

The Free plan includes one feed. Paid plans are described on the pricing page. We will tell you before charging you for anything, and prices will not change for a period you have already paid for.

• Don't break the law, other people's rights or publishers' licences with Rubynox.
• Don't try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours, overload the service, or scrape it in ways that harm it.
• Don't use deliveries to send spam or to people who haven't agreed to receive them.

We may change Rubynox and these terms; for important changes we will tell you in advance. You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk, and will explain why unless the law prevents it.

Rubynox is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by the data itself, publishers, or services outside our control. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid Rubynox in the twelve months before the claim. [To be completed by counsel: governing law, courts and the legal entity providing Rubynox.]
